The concepts of caring and sharing are central themes throughout Scripture. The spirit of service in individuals is born early on. As children grow, their spirit of service will grow – as long as we nurture that spirit. Church is the number one place where young people learn about service and volunteer activities. Congregations are a critical place for children to learn about caring and sharing.

PNO (Parents Night Out!)...for MPKids ONLY!!
Sponsored and run by our Youth Department...this program runs in conjunction with MPKids (same nights) and the cost is $5 per child..which benefits the Youth Deparment and all of their activities!
8:30 to 10:00 PM - Friday Nights!!
1st-6th Grade MPKids ONLY!!! (No GLOW children please!)

Our NEW program just for Preschoolers and Kindergarteners! Now they too can come to church on Friday nights for mission works, supper and fun!!

Children's Summer Camp - Bridgeport!!
Camp is a life-changing event! Each day of camp is filled with Christian fellowship, creative worship, dynamic music, group study, games and teambuilding activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor recreation. Children who have completed grades 3 -5 are encouraged to attend the United Methodist Camp at Bridgeport. For more information, see www.bridgeportcamp.com.

Children's Ministry Volunteers...
Our children's programs are primarily staffed by volunteers…just like you! It is our prayer that every parent of a child that participates in programs offered at FUMC Rockwall will also give of their time and talents.
It takes MANY volunteers to successfully run these programs. Everyone has something unique to offer…and it is our expectation and hope that you will find a place to serve. We have a wide-range of volunteer opportunities available.
