Members voted to change the name of the class to the Seekers shortly after moving to the building on Goliad Street. The class has grown and flourished over the years. Two new classes were started in the late 1980’s by several members of the Seekers, and another class was started two years ago out of the membership of the Seekers. Today, the Seekers have approximately thirty-five active members. They study various topics and are taught by members of the class. They continue to have regular social events, sponsor missions such as Two by Four Sunday which benefits Habitat for Humanity, and have an annual retreat.
