Most adult classes meet in the new Elizabeth Cameron Christian Education Building.  (ECCEB)

Becomers
The Becomers have a rotating teaching format with scriptural-based lessons and contemporary issues discussions to help further their spiritual walk in meeting the everyday problems and stresses of life.  They are an active group within this church and in many mission projects.  For the most part, they are a bunch of forty and fifty-something who enjoy occasional social outings.

Challengers
The Challengers are a family-oriented, loving, friendly, fun group that teach from the the Bible.  They have all age groups from all walks of life.  They are moving toward service to others.

Discovery
This class is especially for young couples and young families.  They extend a special invitation to all to join the discussion and study of the Bible as it relates to our daily lives.

Friendship
This class has rotating teachers who lead discussions from programmed International curriculum.  Occasional social outings provide fellowship opportunities beyond the Sunday morning classroom setting for the members of this class.

Fellowship
This class of mostly empty-nesters begins each gathering with coffee in the Coffee Area of ECCEB, then launches into a stimulating discussion on a variety of topics related to the life of faith.

Genesis
This is a diverse group of Christians who enjoy lively discussions and thought provoking topics.  They have a rotating teacher format and usually have more discussion than lecture.  They enjoy a number of social events as a class such as road rallies, swim parties, & monthly brunches.  They are involved in ongoing mission projects.

Harmony
Contemporary issues are addressed in light of the scriptures and current Christian literature.  The focus is to enhance  understanding of God’s Word.  The members enjoy social and other activities together.   Singles and couples elect class officers and enjoy the benefit of rotating teachers.  The members are committed to studying the Bible, reaching out to others, and serving the Lord in all ways.

Harvester
The members of this class are 75+ years of age.  They have lessons from Christian Living in the Mature Years Curriculum and are a blessing to each other.

J. E. Wilson
Bible study lessons led by class members.  Class members have an active social and Christian service agenda and provide support for the Society of St. Stephen, the United Methodist Children’s Home, and other missions.

Journeys

The focus of this class is to use Biblical and Christian principles to learn from and to encourage each other throughout our daily lives. Lessons are member-led and discussion is encouraged. Our hope is that through this class we can learn more about what Christ has in store for us and through the Christian relationships that we develop we can be an encouragement to each other as we journey through life's joys and challenges.

New Beginnings
Members focus on Bible study and connecting themselves to the ministries of the church.  Some members are experiencing Sunday School for the first time.  Others are looking for a time more suitable for 9:30 worshippers.

Pathfinders

The goal of Pathfinders is to bring its members closer to living a Christ-centered life through study and fellowship. We seek to promote the Lord and bring others to Christ by leading by example, sharing each others joys and hardships, and seeking answers to life's questions by study and discussion.  Lessons generally follow published study guides designed to enhance our understanding of the Scripture and its application in all facets of our daily lives.

Perspectives
This class engages in lively and open discussions about modern spiritual life. As a class, we find more grace in the search for understanding than we do in dogmatic certainty; more value in questioning than in absolutes. Topics to explore include:  modern ways of understanding and living a personal Christian faith, contemporary theological scholarship, and exploration of the wisdom and truths in all religious traditions. Singles and couples of all ages are welcome.

Seekers
The Seekers Class is taught by members on a rotating teaching schedule.  The class selects the literature and topics for its lessons, with emphasis on applying scripture to contemporary issues.  The class has periodic socials and family outings, offering fellowship opportunities to its members.  This multi-age class of couples and singles has supported and participated in numerous mission projects and sponsors the Habitat for Humanity 2X4 Sunday each year.  They’ve adopted the 5th grade Sunday School class.

Trinity
The Trinity Class is comprised of married couples ranging in age from mid 20's through late 40's.  They seek a fun and friendly way to make Christian friends and share God's word.  Their faith experiences vary from new Christians to those with a time-tested abiding faith.  They have discussions on topics ranging from family matters to spiritual topics, all with an emphasis on God's will for us.  They enjoy regular social outings, and seek to build a trusted community of friends who celebrate God and support each other during life's trials.

Unity
Bill Abbott teaches this class and develops the lessons around the adaptation of scripture and Bible characters to contemporary times with special attention to class participation.  The class has an annual retreat.  As a group, they are active in and support many groups and projects in the church.  They have frequent social outings.  While the majority of the class is middle aged or over, the class extends a special welcome to all.

Vase Breakers
An adult Sunday School Class with strong Bible-based lessons and lively discussion.  The members’ ages span  several decades.  The class offers opportunities for in-depth study and discussion about how to best apply    Biblical principles to everyday life.  The class is currently focusing on various video-based sermon series presented by Rev. Adam Hamilton, a UMC minister in Kansas.  They welcome all adults to join them in their study of the Bible!
