"Shoes For Kids"

“Shoes For Kids” (SFK) is a community based program that provides children in need with new school shoes and socks. SFK is in its 9th year and has grown from 170 children to 1, 270 served in 2009!
· Children are identified through area schools and agencies.
· We partner with area churches, social and services clubs and organizations, individuals and businesses.
· The First UMC Rockwall is turned into a giant “Store” and children choose their own shoes.
· We partner with payless shoe Source who helped with shoes, fitting, sizing, set up and check-out. All shoes are new. No gentle –worn or used shoes distributed.
