Dr. Joe Pool came to FUMC Rockwall as senior pastor in June 2006. Joe has served several churches in the North Texas Conference. He has lead three successful building programs, increased worship attendance and mission awareness and involvement. He has led Disciple Bible Study groups and enjoys teaching. He and his wife, Becky, have three children, Candace, Corey, and Amanda.

Rev. LaBella-Foster has previously served the Kessler Park UMC, Dallas and in lay positions of leadership at Lovers Lane UMC, Northhaven UMC and Greenland Hills UMC. Beth is a native Dallasite, graduate of UTD and Perkins, SMU. She will lead our Open Door Worship Service, Adult education and Pastoral Care. Rev. LaBella-Foster is married to Greg Foster and has one daughter, Elise LaBella, a sophomore in High School.

Rev. Alan Clark is the Minister of Music and Fine Arts and has been at First UMC Rockwall for eleven years. He is a graduate of Duke University where he received a B.A. with studies in religion and music. He received his certification in church music from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. Alan has served in churches in Terrell, Texas; New Orleans and Monroe, Louisiana; Gallatin, Tennessee; and Tyler, Texas. He has professional experience in drama and TV/video production. Alan is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church. He and his wife, Patsy, have three boys, Zachary, Will, and Timmy.

Christina serves First UMC as Director of Children & Family Ministries and is a Deacon of the United Methodist Church. Christina and her husband Stefan have three children: Andrew, William and Sarah.
Rev. Paul Maletic, Minister with Youth - pmaletic@fumcrockwall.com
Paul Maletic joined our staff in 2008. Paul grew up in the First United Methodist Church of Irving where he was active in UMYF and all aspects of his home church. Paul attended Southwestern University, Class of 2004 and also graduated from Perkins School of Theology at SMU in 2008. Paul is ordained as a Deacon in Full Connection in the North Texas Annual Conference. Paul previously served the Walnut Hill UMC, Dallas. Paul brings excitement and energy to our youth ministry.

Melissa has been an integral volunteer at First UMC Rockwall with Sunday School, Mp Kids , VBS, special events, and children's team. Melissa is a graduate of Texas A & M. She is married to Jim Bloom, a paramedic, and has two children; Ethan 10 years old, and Caroline 8 years old.
Adam Young, Assistant Youth Minister/Church Pastoral Intern - ayoung@fumcrockwall.com
Adam started on staff part-time, as of September 2010, as our Assistant Youth Minister and has recently stepped into an additional role as our church's pastoral intern as a part of his final degree requirements at Perkins School of Theology at SMU. Adam grew up in the Nazarene Church with experience in youth ministry, community mission outreach, as well as being part of an emerging church start. Adam is married to Mallory Young, and has two children: Kaden and Colby.

Katrina grew up in Alvin, TX and moved to Emory, graduating from Rains High School, class of 2003, where her family still lives. Her parents brought her and her younger brother up in the United Methodist Church and it has always been a home among all of the places she has lived. She has earned degrees in Science and Psychology from Lon Morris College and McMurry University. Since graduating in 2009, she has found a passion serving in ministry, in particularly with youth ministry and missions. She has served St. Paul UMC in Bridge City, TX as the Director of Youth Ministries while attending seminary classes at the SMU-Perkins Houston extension campus. She continues her masters degree at the main SMU campus while serving on FUMC Rockwall’s youth staff.

Greg Humphries joined the staff as Director of Finance and Administration in January of 2002. Having graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Marketing, Greg worked twenty-six years in pharmaceutical sales management. During this time he had the opportunity to manage the U. S. sales division of Winthrop Laboratories, a division of Eastman Kodak. His family and he, wife Darlene and daughter Claire, have been members of First UMC of Rockwall since 1992.

Bonnie Klein, Finance Manager - bklein@fumcrockwall.com
Bonnie joined the staff of First United Methodist Church in 1993 and presently serves as the church’s Finance Manager. Previously she spent 26 years in Small Business Management and Banking. Bonnie and her husband Pat have been married since 1967 and have two married sons and five granddaughters. She enjoys digital photo manipulation and restoration as well as reading, crafting and home remodeling projects.

Beth Boulware joined the Church staff in January, 2011 as Church Receptionist. In addition she has prepared the Church newsletter since November, 2009. She and her husband Bob have been members since 2002. Beth retired from AT&T after 29 years. She is active in Bible studies and is a member of the J.E. Wilson class. Her hobbies include anything that involves her grandson.

Susan Gallander has been selected by the ARK Board of Directors, Jennifer Briscoe, Chairperson, as the new Director, effective May 9, 2011. Susan graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, has taught on the secondary level, has been an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University in Commerce, and is a published curriculum writer. Susan brings a depth of experience and desire to the ARK and is excited about this opportunity. Susan is married to Ty and they have two children, Lauren and John. Welcome Susan!
