Music Ministry Overview

 

    Welcome to the music ministry of First United Methodist Church, Rockwall. You are encouraged to participate in this ministry of music, where you can offer your musical gifts and spirit to the congregation. Come enjoy the fellowship of joining together in a community of musicians, and dedicate yourself to serving God through your love of music.
     Children from age 4 through fifth grade are welcome to join the children’s choirs which practice on Sunday evening. Youth in grades 6 through 12 are invited to join the youth choir which practices on Sunday afternoons. Adults may participate in the Chancel Choir, which practices on Wednesdays or the handbell choir which practices on Sunday evenings. Instrumentalists are also welcome to play in our church orchestra which plays for special occasions. If you enjoy theatrical productions, we also do those on occasion.
