 Dr.
Joe Pool
Dr. Joe Pool came to FUMC Rockwall as senior
pastor in June 2006. Joe has served several churches in the
North Texas Conference. He has lead three successful building
programs, increased worship attendance and mission awareness and
involvement. He has led Disciple Bible Study groups and enjoys
teaching. He serves on two conference committees and chairs the
Committee on Episcopacy of the North Texas Conference. He and
his wife, Becky, have three children, Candace - 21, Corey - 17, and
Amanda - 16.
 Rev. Alan Clark
Rev. Alan Clark is the Minister of Music and Fine Arts and has been
at FUMC Rockwall for eight years. Alan was born in Nacogdoches,
Texas and grew up in Corpus Christi. He attended high school in San
Antonio and went to Duke University where he received a B.A. in
Religion and a minor in music. He received his certification in
church music from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. Alan has served
in churches in Terrell, Texas; New Orleans and Monroe, Louisiana;
Gallatin, Tennessee; and Tyler, Texas. He has professional
experience in drama and TV/video production. Alan is an ordained
Deacon in the United Methodist Church. He and his wife, Patsy, have
three boys, Zachary, Will, and Timmy.
 Rev. Valarie D. Englert
Rev. Valarie Englert was born in Shreveport, LA and grew up in the
Southern Baptist Church. She earned a B.A., cum laude, University of
Texas at Dallas and worked in corporate human resources. She earned
a M.Div., magna cum laude from Perkins School of Theology, SMU. She
has been serving this church since 2003. Valarie and her husband, Richard, are the parents of Eva.
 Dr. Bruce Hargrave
Dr. Bruce Hargrave is a graduate of Dallas Baptist
University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and holds
the Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary in
Lithonia,
Georgia. He also is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and a NCAC level II Addiction Counselor. Dr. Bruce Hargrave was appointed
to FUMC Rockwall in 2003. Bruce enjoys RVing, golf, and perusing
through garage sales. Bruce is married to Cathy Williams Hargrave,
and they have one daughter, Bethany.

Christina Hildebrand
Please welcome Christina Hildebrand to
the staff of First UMC Rockwall. Christina is our new Director of
Children & Family Ministries and is a Deacon of the United Methodist
Church. Also welcome Christina's husband, Stefan and children
Andrew, William and Sarah. Christina was most recently on the staff
of Northaven UMC in Dallas as Minister of Education.
 Greg Humphries
Greg Humphries has been employed as Director of Finance and
Administration since January of 2002. Having graduated from Texas
Tech University with a BBA in Marketing, Greg worked twenty-six
years in pharmaceutical sales management. During this time he had
the opportunity to manage the U. S. sales division of Winthrop
Laboratories, a division of Eastman Kodak. His family and he, wife
Darlene and daughter Claire, have been members of First UMC of
Rockwall since 1992.
 Bonnie Klein
Bonnie Klein became part of the FUMC Staff in 1993. She presently
serves as the church’s Finance Manager. She has been a parishioner
at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church since moving to Rockwall in
1980. There she serves as a Eucharistic Minister both in the church
and to the local nursing homes. Bonnie and her husband Pat have been
married since 1967. They have two married sons and four
granddaughters. She enjoys reading, crafting and home remodeling
projects.
 Amy Swiney
Amy is on staff part-time, as of September 2007, as our Children &
Families Assistant. She grew up in Ohio, California and Arlington,
TX. She graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Public
Administration and Management. She has been married to her husband,
Bob, for 15 years, and they have 10 year old twins, Hannah and
Garrett. Amy is a long-time volunteer in the Children’s Ministries
here at FUMC Rockwall. The Swineys have lived in Heath and been
members of this church since 1997.
 Judy
Weyrauch
Judy joined the staff of FUMC in January 2007. She has been a member
of FUMC Rockwall since transferring her membership from Christ UMC
in Independence, Mo. In 2001. She previously worked for Lucent
Technologies as a Financial Analyst and since retiring has enjoyed
volunteering and spending time with her 8 grandchildren and special
friends. She also enjoys reading, playing word games and helping the
UMW Bazaar team.
Laurie Wilder
Laurie Wilder was born in Port Arthur, Texas and even went to church
with Janis Joplin's family!! She has an Associates Degree in Early
Childhood, a B.S. Degree in Voc. Home Economics Education with
Kindergarten Certification, a M.S. in Counseling and Guidance with
an emphasis on Elementary Education and Play Therapy. She has been a
member of FUMC since 1988 and has worked at the Preschool as a
teacher, assistant director and director since 1989. Laurie has been
married for 26 years to Bud with 3 children, Liz , Zach and Leigh.
