Bishop’s Rally for our 6th Graders/Confirmands October 6 | Trinity UMC in Arlington Cost: $5 per person Bishop’s Rally is a gather of confirmands from the soon-to be Horizon Texas Conference. This event is open to any churches from the North Texas, Central Texas, and Northwest Texas Conferences. The afternoon is packed with large group gatherings, worship, an address from the Bishop, and plenty of games and activities. Prayer Apple Tree We are Praying for Our Students All Year Long August 11-25 | Connection Center Stop by the Prayer Apple Tree beginning Sunday, August 11 through August 25 and pick 1, 2, 3…as many apples as you would like, fill out the spreadsheet at the Prayer Apple Tree table, and pray for these students the entire school year. If you would like to write a note to your student, place that letter in an envelope with the child’s first name, last initial, and grade entering and place it in our Apple Tree Mailbox located on the 2nd floor of Building B right by the elevator. Promotion Sunday/Kindergarten Promotion Parade Sunday, August 11 | 9:30-10:30 AM Fun minute-to-win it games, Bible Bucks Store,  and a back to school mission! Children entering Kinder will begin the morning in their current classroom. At 9:30 AM, they will “parade” from the Bears room to the BIG Room (218).
