Thursday, October 29 | Van will leave the church at 9 AM; we will return 3:00-3:30 PM
Dick Carter, one of our church members who volunteers at the Zoo, will provide a guided walking tour of the zoo. Please be advised: this will involve a lot of walking. The group will eat lunch at the zoo (Prime Meridian Café - zmenu.com/prim-meridian-cafe-dallas) around 12:30-1 PM. Each person is responsible for her own lunch; the menu is moderately priced. Admission to the zoo averages $16-$19. You can make reservations online (nonrefundable) or purchase your ticket at the gate the day of the event.
Both our guide and our van driver are volunteering their time for us. It is customary for us to provide lunch and zoo admission tickets, as well as a thank you tip for each of these persons. We are asking each participant to contribute $15, payable to Roseann Rawls, on the day of the trip or before. This is in addition to the zoo admission fee and lunch.
Seating is limited on the van (10 passengers total- 6 seats remaining, so please make your reservation soon. RSVP no later than Oct. 22 to Roseann Rawls (genlover8@gmail.com or 469-323-1558).
