Society of St. Stephen
The Society of St. Stephen helps those in need in Rockwall County in the name of our church and our Lord. Many come our way with needs: rent and utilities, help with various kinds of paperwork, a listening ear. Because of the generosity of this congregation, needs are met, and lives are changed.
One Man's Treasure
Their goal is to disrupt the cycle of recidivism by providing men with clothing and essential social service connections to help them prosper during their re-entry to Dallas/Fort Worth and East Texas communities. Our Church is a year round drrop off site.
Helping Hands
Our church collects monthly donations for the food pantry in Rockwall County. Rockwall County Helping Hands has been providing help and hope to your neighbors since 1976.
Missions Golf Tournament
Annual golf tournament that provides funding for the mission outreach of the church. The tournament is open to anyone who wishes to participate. After the tournament, dinner is served and prizes are awarded, plus a raffle.

Wilkinson Center Thanksgiving Boxes
Wilkinson Center is working to end hunger and generational poverty, starting here in North Texas. We provide our clients with the tools and opportunities they need to become financially self-sufficient and on a pathway to success. Every September we sponsor a food drive and every November we provides Thanksgiving Boxes for families in need located in a food desert, where no grocery store is nearby.
Angel Tree
Founded in 1890, Methodist Children’s Home serves children, youth and families through residential programs on the Waco campus and MCH Boys Ranch, and through transition services, foster and kinship care, and a variety of community-based programs throughout Texas and New Mexico. We provide Christmas gifts for all the children in Waco.
Shoes For Kids
Shoes For Kids is a community-based program that has provided children from underprivileged families in Rockwall County with new school shoes, socks, dental hygiene supplies, and immunization vaccines.
Youth Mission Trips
Local and regional trips and projects for 7th-12th grade youth; adult chaperones always needed! All First UMC Rockwall Youth service events are eligible for school service hours. Youth are also invited to participate in most church service events.
Kids Against Hunger
Kids Against Hunger is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization packaging and distributing food in the U.S. and world-wide where hunger and starvation are rampant. Kids Against Hunger Packing Events give volunteers an opportunity to join the fight against hunger and to contribute in feeding the world.
