Due to the inclement weather, First UMC Rockwall has cancelled church services and all other activities through Thursday. While this may be disappointing, safety is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and pray for the First Responders. Please stay safe and warm!

In anticipation of winter weather, First UMC Rockwall has established closing procedures in the event of dangerous conditions due to snow or ice. Our goal is to keep our guests and members safe and off the roads if hazardous driving becomes an issue.
Closing announcements will be emailed, posted to social media, and our website. First UMC Rockwall will also be listed in closing lists scrolled on Local News Stations, Fox 4 and CBS 11.
On weekdays during the public school year, First UMC Rockwall follows the closing decisions of the Rockwall ISD. Under most circumstances, a decision to close or delay school due to bad weather is made by 6 AM or earlier, according to the Rockwall ISD’s inclement weather policy. If schools are closed, the church is closed and all daytime and evening activities are cancelled. If school openings are delayed, we will delay opening the church, but the Ark Preschool will remain closed.
