shoes for kids

Shoes For Kids | July 25, 2026

We are celebrating our 22nd anniversary this year at Shoes for Kids. We are a community-based program that has provided children from underprivileged families in Rockwall County with new school shoes, socks, dental hygiene supplies, physicals and register for immunization vaccines.
Over the years, we have grown from serving 179 children to more than 1,500 children per year. Since 2005 we have distributed over 18,500 shoes.
As a part of the community ministries of First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, in partnership with area churches and civic organizations, volunteers distribute the shoes and other school related items on the campus of First United Methodist Church of Rockwall.
“When you have done it unto the least of these, my brethren, you have done it unto me.”  Matthew 25:40
