Share a meal with total strangers as you engage in courageous and safe conversations about race relations. Tell your experience and listen to the stories of your fellow diners. Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 7 | Meet in the Courthouse parking lot | 8 AM to decorate the float and to enjoy a breakfast treat. The parade begins promptly at 9 AM Rockwall Christmas Parade Children of all ages – through 6th grade, are welcome to join in the fun! We will meet at our assigned spot at the Rockwall County Courthouse at 8 AM to decorate the float and eat donuts. This year’s parade theme is “Favorite Christmas Movie.” Our float will be from the movie “The Star.” Come dressed as your favorite barn yard animal or a star! Children in Kindergarten and younger will ride the float with one parent. Children who are in 1st-6th grades can walk alongside the float with a parent and pass out candy!.  Let us know you’re attending. Mental Health First Aid Kit

This will be conducted by the experts at Methodist Health System through a grant they received specifically for Rockwall County. They have 30 slots and these will fill up quickly! Please forward this on to other pastors, school counselors, therapists, SROs, emergency response personnel, and people who are most likely to encounter urgent mental health situations. Because we are hosting this event, we have been given a few days to distribute to key personnel in Rockwall County before this opens up to the general public.
