Alzheimer’s Association – Education Series Research has shown that individuals who maintain a spiritual connection as they age have a stronger well-being and greater sense of purpose in life. Religious places and traditions often provide special memories, giving an individual or family member a sense of peace, serenity and joy. Alzheimer’s disease robs an individual of memories, but does this does not eliminate a person’s ability to have a spiritual relationship. More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, including members of our congregation. The Message of Jesus: Words That Changed the World by Adam Hamilton Friday Friends Bible Study Every Friday, 12-1 PMOn ZOOM The group of various ages, men and women, select a study that includes a book, purchased by members, and a video that covers the material. Each week the discussion is lead by one or more of the group, although no one is required to lead the discussion. Our group seeks to deepen our knowledge of scripture and how to apply this knowledge to our daily lives. During Lent, we will be doing The Message of Jesus by Adam Hamilton.
